From the Chinese side, the participants included He Lifeng, Director General of the National Development and Reform Commission, Li Fei, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, Zhao Chenxin, Deputy Director General of the National Development and Reform Commission, and other officials from the public and private sectors of both countries.

The participants discussed efforts toward decarbonization to avoid the global warming crisis, as well as stable energy supply.
